Jennifer is excited to partner with Rula to provide individual therapy for individuals who carry specific insurances. If you have Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Kaiser Permanente (Southern CA), MHN or Optum insurance, she can see you via Telehealth through Rula, who will process your insurance information.
Please note that sessions can only be conducted on-line
for those who use insurance.

I understand that attending your first, second, or hundredth session can be vulnerable for many. My hope is to create a warm and safe environment to ease you into the person you want to become. My style is to encourage you to your desired goal and help you leave therapy a stronger version of yourself.
Together we will process your current road map in this beautiful thing we call life. My passion is to work with people of all ages as individuals, couples, or in family dynamics. I use a variety of styles and techniques that fit each individual personally and hope to incorporate my love for animals by utilizing a therapy support dog in sessions as well . My approach is to help my clients recognize how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected and affect the way we view and respond to situations. It is about reframing those negative thoughts and beliefs about your surroundings, future, and yourself. We come together to make a shift in how you view your world.

My job as your therapist will be to listen, understand, and guide you through the circumstances or emotions you are facing. Navigating trials through life can cause us to feel alone and discouraged. Sometimes we feel like we have no one to turn to or that everything we are trying to do to better ourselves is not working. Within my practice, my main focus is to first deeply understand your perspective and creatively use tools and coping skills to help you find more effective or efficient ways to function. Within the therapy room, I use judgment-free techniques that will allow you to feel safe and comfortable learning more about yourself and can help you redefine your idea of healing.
