Hello, I'm Victoria!
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). I am a third generation Mexican and European American. Raised with deep Christian roots in Corona, I understand what it is like to stand in the intersection of conflicting identities. Through a person-centered approach I aim to help individuals, couples, and families navigate relational challenges.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with Specialized Training in Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University. I utilize a person-centered approach that strives to best suit the needs and personalities of my clients. Curiosity, creativity, and honesty are the guiding principles. Within the therapeutic relationship, I will gently challenge harmful thinking and unhealthy relational patterns through compassionate, logical questions and dialogue.

My goal is to create a safe space for clients during sessions by being an observant, nonjudgmental, and empathetic therapist.

I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). As a daughter of immigrant parents, I have had to learn to navigate a multitude of systems and overcome the challenges that come with being the first in many settings. Now, as a parent, I continue to learn and evolve, and understand the complexities of adapting to change while also working to maintain a strong sense of self.
My professional journey began as a public school teacher where I learned, first hand, the importance of community, equity, and support. I obtained a Bachelor’s of Arts and a teaching credential from Cal State Dominguez Hills. I also hold a Master’s of Science in Educational Counseling with an emphasis in Individual and Family Counseling, from the University of La Verne. As a mental health professional, I strive to continue my mission to offer individuals and families a safe and supportive space to process, learn and grow.
