Peau | "Be the best version of you!"
As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I seek to offer a warm and comfortable environment for each individual that walks into my office. Whether it is a child needing self regulation skills, a parent who has an adolescent struggling with the journey of being a teenager, or an individual seeking help after a divorce, break up or personal crisis, I will work with you on making collaborative goals to help you see the light at the end of the tunnel!
I counsel clients with issues ranging from relationship struggles to parenting or coping skills to building a stronger sense of self-awareness and self-management. I have a passion for children/adolescents and have worked with struggling youth as both a School Counselor and LMFT. I also enjoy working with clients individually, as couples or families. I use a variety of styles and techniques to help meet the needs of each individual I meet with.
My desire is for every client to leave a session with hope and a stronger sense of self so that they become empowered, build resilience and thrive. I have a love for animals as well! In the near future, I hope to incorporate a certified therapy dog in sessions.
I received a Bachelors of Science in Religion with a concentration in Youth Ministry at Liberty University. I went on to receive a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. I also have two credentials from Redlands University and am trained to provide EMDR for trauma relief.

Curiosity is my greatest strength! Through this curiosity I am humbled by the strength, abilities, and resiliency every person I work with brings into each session. I use this curiosity to find the strengths and abilities that a person already possesses, yet maybe did not see. I lead beside you to help you reach your goals and find your successes. I believe these successes lead to solutions in a person’s life.
My experience as a teacher and a counselor in the school system provides a special perspective that supports working with children and families experiencing problems not only at home but also in the school system. My goal is to empower a child and their family to achieve their preferred future and desired outcomes.
I am strength-based, and culturally sensitive, and I believe that my warm, welcoming, and collaborative approach will allow you to feel comfortable with me.
